At SILG on November 17, Dr. Robin Maxon, of Eastern Oregon Audiology, will be sharing very important health information related to a lifetime of hearing. Robin is a member of SILG and is happy to give members and guests an update on the latest trends and safety practices to ensure good hearing, as well as how to resolve any problems. Please plan to attend club (noon, Island City Hall), and bring a friend or two that could benefit from this topic and/or exposure to a fabulous group of community-minded women. This is a great day to bring someone who has been interested in joining SILG, too.
The Cubs won the World Series and Tressa finally got the SILG Newsblog rolling…a week for miracles, right? The SILG Newsblog is replacing the SILG Newsletter but will still deliver all the same great content, plus hopefully more! Many of the same contributions will be made in terms of interesting articles, announcements, celebrations, and pictures of our activities and events. We also hope to enable a feature where SILG members can post information and articles you all find valuable – one of the benefits of membership is networking, after all!
Once I get the blog rolling, the Marketing Committee will begin to add posts and we will (slowly) roll out new features to enhance our club communication. All current SILG members have been subscribed to the blog, and if you would like to be removed, simply email me and I will take you off the list.
Items of note while I have your attention: the latest club brochure and club application can now be found on our website. If you would like color copies of the brochure, let me know. Otherwise, feel free to download and share!
