Slow Cooker Goodness

Thanks to Rebecca Loman who submitted the link for this fabulous Slow Cooker Ham & Potato Soup – she tried it out and approves! I was going to cut and paste the recipe, but if you go to the link, the pictures will have you drooling in 3 seconds! Also, there is a link for Black Pepper Bacon Biscuits with the Soup link…guess what I will be trying out this weekend? YUM!!!    http://dinnerthendessert.com/slow-cooker-ham-potato-soup/

Slow Cooker Ham and Potato Soup

Opportunity!

Looking ahead to next club year, SILG is recruiting for 2 board members and a club secretary. These are EXCELLENT opportunities for newer club members to learn more about SILG without committing to a massive amount of time or complexity. Board members meet the first Thursday of the month to develop the Business agenda and review club business. The club secretary takes notes at Board and Business meetings, in a pre-built template.  So, whether you are a very new SILGer or a longterm member with a desire to up your involvement, these opportunities are just right! (Shayla H. and Jacque were both very new to SILG when they joined the Board – talk with either of them to get the scoop on this simple way to learn more about SILG/SIA.)  If you are interested, contact Tori, Tressa or Di. Don’t think twice, just do it!
