Save the Date
SILG Holiday Party: Sunday, December 18, 4-6pm, at Tori’s home. Celebrate the hard work that goes into Festival, the holiday season, and last, but not least, the greatness of our club! The theme is Feliz Navidad, w/taco bar provided. Please bring a White Iguana gift, under $15, and feel free to contribute your favorite drink or dessert!
No SILG This Week
There will not be an SILG meeting on Thursday this week since it’s Thanksgiving. Enjoy your day! We’ll see you at Festival of Tree’s the following week – Shannon will be sending out the FOT Sign-Up Sheet so everyone remembers what they agreed to, even!
Note: The SILG Board Meeting on December 1 is still happening per usual.

SILG Thursday
I don’t know about you, but SILG on Thursday is a bright spot in my week, shining like a beacon! Only one more day until I get to mingle with a bright, intelligent, generous, funny and hard-working group of women for a whole hour and then return to work buoyed by our shared efforts to support our community. This week is our monthly Business Meeting. President Ashley has a full agenda, complete with numerous committee reports, announcements and action items to move forward. We start at 12:10 and wrap at 12:50, to allow for travel time – AND you can bring your lunch, or not, whatever you prefer.
NOTE: Treasurer Patty created new Parliamentary Procedure cards for us to use at Business Meetings – THANK YOU, Patty!

Committee Updates Here
Forgot what committee/s you were on for this club year? Didn’t get a directory yet? Don’t carry it with you? The solution is simple – use the SILG website!
lagrandesoroptimist.org has a complete committee list, freshly updated, in the Members Only section at the top of the page. You will need to use the club password to sign in – page 2 of your directory (no login needed). If you don’t have your directory on you, you can text me at 541-910-4318 or email me at tressaseydel@hotmail.com and I will give you the password.
Note: not every committee seemed to have a Chair, and I may not have gotten it right even if it did. Please check to see that you are listed properly as a Chair, Co-Chair or simply as committee and let me know of any corrections. You may have won a new title!
